In Brief

Founded by Bertrand and Charlotte Jouault, the Breton group, which recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, is a recognised specialist in cheese solutions for the food industry in France and Europe. Over the years, the group has seen sustained growth thanks to its ability to innovate and anticipate market needs.

Now the second generation has joined the group which has diversified to offer its customers a full range of solutions and formats manufactured at its 4 production sites. With sixty or so conscientious and committed employees, the BRC-certified group offers tailor-made cheese solutions and plant-based alternatives to dairy, meat and seafood, as well as functional and technological mixes for the food industry. A factory and a laboratory

Creation of a sales subsidiary in England (near Birmingham)

Design of standard products in Trédion : blocks, bars, logs, liquid cheese (9000t/year)

European Development: AB Iberica

Opening of a factory in Spain and creation of AB Iberica (8000t/year). Cheese and preparations in logs, grated, sliced, cubed.

2011

Opening of AB Tunisia

This new unit has been operating since June 2011 and supplies companies in the Maghreb and Middle East with both waxed products and a range of grated products. The target markets are pizza, sandwich shops and food distribution such as grocery stores and supermarkets.
